Hear a scary good concert as First Presbyterian Church of Pompano Beach holds its annual Halloween Monster Concert on Wednesday evening. Music director Mark Jones is in his second decade donning vamp makeup and cape, sitting at the four thousand-pipe organ and thundering out the likes of Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor (BWV 565) made popular by The Phantom of the Opera.

Joining Jones will be Roger Blankenship, organist at St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Delray Beach, to play Danse macabre by Camille Saint-Saëns. Other organists will include Jim Poch from First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach, Chuck Stanley of Christ Church, United Methodist, Fort Lauderdale, and David Morse of First Congregational Church, Fort Lauderdale.
